Local Events in Milton On - November 12th-25th 2018

This time of year always gets busy with so many events, family gatherings, and work parties.  It's hard to keep up with whats happening and remember all those amazing events going on in the community around you.  Milton Ontario has many local establishments and businesses offering something for everyone this time of year.  We thought it would be a good idea to list a few events that we know and love, and we've included some new events too!  Here is a list of 10 events happening from November 16th-25th 2018.

Friday Nov 16th 2018 - 4-9pm - The Milton Community Christmas Vendor Extravaganza
Come join us for an exciting and unforgettably fun evening, guaranteed to put you in the "Christmas Spirit" while shopping with "first class vendors!"  Located inside Bishop Reding Catholic Secondary School. 

Saturday Nov. 17th 2018 -10am-4pm - The Milton Christmas House Tour, In Support of the United Way  - Always a fun day of touring local homes professionally decorated for the holidays.  Money raised supports the United Way of Halton!  For tickets visit the website - Note this is a self driving tour.

Saturday Nov. 17th 2018 - 12pm-5pm Christmas Craft Market - Loacted at The Mohawk Inn, Campbellville (On Guelph Line, just north of HWY 401)  A delightful market featuring local artisans.  A great place for one of kind hand crafted items.  Free to attend!

There's enough time to hit the house tour, the craft market, AND the Parade of Lights all in the same day!


Saturday Nov. 17th and Sunday Nov 18th 2018- 6pm-8pm The Parade Of Lights - This is one of my families all time favourite events, I mean who doesn't like trucks tractors all done up with lights driving around and playing holiday songs PLUS a visit with santa?  The Parade begins around 6:00pm and runs for about 40 mins.  Santa is dropped off at the Gambrel Barn for an evening with children and their families. Snacks and drinks are supplied.- and enjoyment is had by all!  In addition to all this wonderful Holiday fun there will be wagon rides and tours around the park. Weather permitting.  voluntary donations accepted to the park

Sunday Nov. 18th 2018 - 1:30pm - Main Street, Milton ,On - The Milton Santa Claus ParadeFor 85 Years this parade has been marching up Main St. Milton Ontario.  Another event not to be missed!  Dress warm and bring a hot beverage, chairs, hats, and mittens!  It's always a fun time. 


Sunday Nov. 18th 2018 - 2PM - Big Nate The Musical First Ontario Arts Centre, Milton On.- Nate Wright, a detention-riddled sixth grader hopes to woo beautiful Jenny by winning "The Nickelodeon", the first prize in his school's Battle of the Bands. But when Jenny teams up with Nate's arch-rival Gina to form the sap-pop band, Rainbows and Ponies, he's gotta take his game to an all-star level. What will he do? Based on the hit comic strip series by Lincoln Peirce, a school favourite jumps off the pages and onto the stage all live in living colour! Tickets available through Milton Public Library.

?Sat Nov. 24th 2018 - 10am-2pm - Holiday Bazaar - The holiday season is quickly approaching so why not drop by our wonderful Holiday Bazaar. Over 20 vendors to help you with your holiday shopping! Free admission and lots of free parking! Located inside the Milton Sportrs Centre, 605 Santa Maria Blvd, Milton On

?Sat Nov. 24th 2018 - 10am-2pm - The Mama Christmas Market Bringing you all things motherhood & baby. We are curating all of your FAVE mama + babe shops! Come shop + mingle with us!  Located iside the Gambrel Barn at The Country Heritage Museum, Tremiane Road, Milton On.

Sat Nov. 24th 2018 - 6:30pm - Grandma Used to Heckle Me - Comedy Show and Dinner - Nationally touring stand up comedian Jeff Leeson (As seen on: Global TV, CTV, Amazon Prime, Sirius XM) brings his brand new tour to The Mohawk Chop House in Campbelleville for a night of live stand up comedy you will never forget!! Tickets Only $50 for dinner and show or $20 for just the show.

Sat Nov. 24th and Sunday Nov. 25th 2018 - 2pm - The Nutcracker Holiday Spectacular - By The Dance Class - An annual production of "The Nutcracker Holiday Spectacular." Program highlights will include a performance honouring Tchaikovsky's traditional "Nutcracker" ballet and a mixed program of holiday favourites, brought to life by artists in our vibrant community.  First Ontario Arts Centre, Milton On
